FRIDAY FIVE (Five Things to Know for This Weekend)
- "Love God and love your neighbor." Sounds simple, right? But living the Greatest Commandment can be much more challenging than we think. We'll be talking about that during our sermon on Sunday morning. Hope to see you there!
- Last week, Kory preached about the challenges of our political system. This Sunday, you're invited to gather with us at 4 p.m. in Chalice Hall to participate in a dialogue about how we can heal the divisions that exist in our country. We need YOUR voice to be part of the conversation, so please join us!
- This Sunday, we'll be focusing on Week of Compassion and how we can support its work. Week of Compassion is our denomination's disaster relief organization. The money donated goes directly to people suffering from all kinds of tragedies. We'll hear from speakers in both services about the great work of Week of Compassion. Please consider giving generously!
- This Friday night and Saturday morning, we will be hosting a number of homeless men as part of the Room in the Inn program. We provide them hot meals, clean clothes, and conversation. If you'd like to be part of future Room in the Inn events, please contact the church office.
