Crestwood’s Local Outreach Ministry Team provides an opportunity to put our faith into action within our local community. The ministry team meets monthly to distribute financial assistance to charitable organizations, organize volunteer opportunities, and develop supportive relationships with social service providers in Lexington.
One of the major local outreach activities of Crestwood Church is our annual Habitat for Humanity build in which Crestwood partners with other Disciple Churches in the Lexington community to provide financial assistance and physical labor toward building a home for a family who otherwise wouldn’t have one. On May 29th we begin construction of of the Disciple’s 28th habitat house.
