Children’s Summer Activities and Dates:
For PJYF and JYF children only (those who have completed 1st - 5th grades)
June 19 - Surf's Up
We will head out to see “Surf’s Up” in the afternoon. Cost and time will be available closer to the date. Friends are invited and encouraged to attend.
June 22 & 23 - Vacation Bible School
For ages 3 to 5th grade (see above for details). Friday night and all day Saturday. Please pre-register on-line here.
July 2 - Game Day at the Church
We will play games, including water games, discover what brown or purple cows are and enjoy the afternoon. We will meet from 1:00-3:30 PM in the Mission Center . Friends are invited and encouraged to attend.
July 17 - Pool Party at Buddy and Judy Cowgill ’s
We will gather at the church at 4:30 PM and return to the church at 8:00 PM . Dinner will be provided. Please bring bathing suits, towels, and a change of clothes for the ride home. Friends are invited and encouraged to attend.
August 1 - Movie and Games at the Church
We will gather from 1:00-3:30 PM , watch a movie, eat snacks, and play a game or two after the movie. Friends are invited and encouraged to attend.
August 7 - King's Island Trip
For those 5th graders who are moving to 6th grade, King's Island Trip. This is your first chance to do something with our Chi-Rho Group. This is for only those who have completed the 5th grade.
August 19 - Children and Youth Group Kick Off Carnival
Celebrate the beginning of our year with an amazing time to play and win prizes. 12:15-2:15 PM .
2007 summer church camp opportunities :
Camp 101 1st and 2nd graders with a parent or guardian; June 2-3, 2007
Mini Camp 3rd graders; June 8-10, 2007
Junior 1 Camp 4th-5th graders; June 11-15, 2007
Registration deadline is April 15, 2007
All camps held at Camp Wakon'Da-Ho in Casey County, KY.
